DRBC Facility

Covid-19 Announcement: Due to the high number of applications received during the initial months of the Covid crisis, DRBC has closed to new applications. We will not reopen the on-line application process until we have worked through all applications we have previously received.

We appreciate your patience and continued support and look forward to a day when operations here at DRBC and life in the community in which we serve return to a better state. Until then, please stay safe and be well. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

DRBC's Home

OK, where is it? Well, we don't have one....Not yet. This is one of the reasons why we do not have hours and you cannot just drive over and 'stop by' to see who is available - we are not a shelter and do not have a building.

Our adoption process is held in one of our main foster homes. On adoption days both fostered doxies and potential adopters converge for a day of fun and learning. Please remember that our adoption process is by appointment only.

The Future

DRBC has set a goal to build a facility that will support all of those dachshunds and dachshund mixes that need us, but this goal is several years away. Want to learn more about the plan or help us step some key steps towards our goal? Click on the icon below to learn more.
