Organizational Structure

DRBC Operational Structure

Shown below is the operational structure for the organization. The reality is that everyone here is very hands-on. Our titles mean little, and we all help where needed. A description of key positions follows the graphic.

DACHSHUND RESCUE OF BUCKS COUNTY & NJ

Board of Directors – All Board Members work outside of the rescue with the exception of the President and VP. Our board consists of community leaders in the areas of banking, insurance, veterinary medicine, etc. The Board meets annually to review financials and adherence to our mission. Operationally, the group is divided by function and has a coordinator associated with each key function.

Coordinators – A coordinator is a leader in the area assigned. There is a high amount of communication between all functions, and all coordinators and volunteers work to a common goal: the rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming, and education for and about the breed.

The DRBC structure is a simple one. It is very effective for us and has helped us save thousands of lives across the years.
